This afternoon, I'm a commentator on a conference panel so I wanted to feel like myself, but a little more grown up. Because the weather is (finally) warming up, I took advantage of the last opportunities to wear my thick wool skirts (this one I thrifted for $2--amazing!). I love the way the button-up black top and black belt look with the gray, but I wanted a little bit of color, too. To spice up the neutral palette of gray and black I added this quirky embellished coral sweater at the very end and I love the way it turned out. Not too buttoned-up, not too out-there. Just right for scary public speaking!

And check out this awesome Essie nail polish I won from a giveaway over at S.S. Dobbs. I think it may be the holy grail perfect light pink polish I've been looking for forever.
Stay tuned for a very exciting giveaway coming up next week! xoxo.

I love that's it's getting a teeny bit warmer but it's like 'ah! have to wear my winter favourite before it's too late!' Haha, the pressure...
I have to say... I cannot get enough of your dansko maryjanes. My taste in shoes occasionally runs to the unfuctional side of things but these are so fantastic. Yes, I've made up outfits in my head with your shoes.
At first glance I thought the cardigan had little flowers attached to it! I also left you something at my blog :) x

The coral cardigan just pimps the whole outfit...and i gotta admit, the skirt´s fit to the waist is just incredibly good. Well done, Nerd!!

A lady in my office wore this cardi the other day, with jeans, though. It looks way cute with a polished skirt + button down.
You pull off Danskos really well. I think I'm too short to wear them (plus, my feet are kind of large for my height).
I love that cardigan, its the best color!
Nicely done! Well played Miss Grown-Up!
